Take advantage of the comforting scent of falling leaves and spiced cider by creating these unique, cozy bath bombs. Use them for yourself or consider giving them to loved ones as gifts of gratitude.

Ingredients

Note: Citric acid can be found at most major supermarkets in the canning section. You can also use almond oil or olive oil in the place of doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil.

Instructions

  1. Combine citric acid, baking soda, cornstarch, and oil in a bowl.
  2. Add 8 to 10 drops of Harvest Spice to the citric acid mixture.
  3. Mix well with spoon until a soft dough forms. The dough should have the consistency of damp sand. Note: If the mixture is too wet, try adding a little more baking soda and cornstarch until consistency is correct.
  4. At this point, you may add food coloring, dried herbs, or flower petals to the mixture if desired.
  5. Place mixture into a silicone mold. Let sit for 24 hours before removing from mold.
  6. To use, drop in the tub or shower and allow to dissolve.

  3. Place pinecones in a decorative bowl to use as a cozy fall centerpiece.

Note: You can also put a drop of Harvest Spice on a cotton ball and apply it to a card to make scented cards.

  1. Add rubbing alcohol and Harvest Spice to the sprayer bottle. Swirl to combine.
  2. Fill the rest of the sprayer with water until almost full, leaving approximately ½ inch of space at the top.
  3. Tightly cap the sprayer bottle and shake well to combine.
  4. Liberally spray on bedding, clothing, fabric-covered furniture, and greeting cards for an inviting aroma.
