Why do some essential oils cost more than others?

There's a lot that goes into producing an essential oil. Or maybe I should say, there "should be" a lot that goes into producing an essential oil. The problem is that a lot of essential oils on the market are adulterated or synthetic. Some to a lesser degree than others, but still, when dealing with essential oils, you don't want anything synthetic or adulterated, at all. You're putting these oils on you, in you, around you and they do absorb into the skin and enter your blood stream, organs, brain, cells, etc... Just breathing in the oils, you get them...
